The Octopus Project are an Austin based experimental pop band. T.O.P. produces purely instrumental songs through the combination of digital and electronic sounds. Some of their instruments include: drum machine, keyboard, synthesizers and other less common devices. Their song “Queen” from the album Hello, Avalanche is the only song to date with lyrics.
The Octopus Project are currently signed to Peek-A-Boo records, an independent record label focused on promoting Texas based independent bands.
In live performances T.O.P. members sometimes switch instruments, but their primary roles are as follows:
